The Royal Cities of Marrakech, Rabat, Fès & the Atlas Mountains

The trip starts in Marrakech with its souks and the lively market square Jemaa el-Fna, which at night changes into one big restaurant, then crosses the Atlas Mountains to Zagora, for a dromedary tour of the desert. After a visit to the kasbah of Aït ben Haddou it's on to Rabat with its impressive cemetary Cimetière Al Shouhada. The tour by train and van ends in Fès, with its famous tanneries in the alleys of the medina. 53 photos.
